Prior to starting NWM Technologies, Marcus boasts an extensive background in data science and analytics, grounded in a solid foundation in mathematics. With a wealth of experience spanning the Finance, Defense and Space, and Retail sectors, Marcus has demonstrated a keen ability to become a storyteller with data that helps buisnesses move the needle and grow. As a proficient coder, Marcus' toolkit of skills consist of Python, Power BI, Snowflake, AWS, and Github. Within the banking sector, Marcus has developed productionized predictive models that help medigate risk and create strategies for collections efforts on $100M in delinquent debt. Along with model development, he also specializes in creating dyanmic real-time dashboards and developing cloud-based data pipelines. Marcus' multifaceted experience positions him as a leader in steering NWM Technologies towards innovative solutions.

Prior to starting NWM Technologies, Malik began his career as a Software (Data) Engineer, specializing in deploying robust data pipelines using Astronomer Airflow, Python, Docker, and AWS Services on backend data projects. Proficient in dbt for modeling, Malik brings extensive expertise in data warehousing platforms such as Snowflake and Oracle. At SAS, his role spaned front-end and back-end development, test-driven backend development with Git, and platform application development. His proactive approach involves continuous learning and side projects, such as deploying Node.js and Python functions on AWS Lambda. Recently, Malik significantly enhanced an offline reporting system at SAS through Javascript and bash scripting - further showcasing his versatility. Our team at NWM Technologies feels confident in Malik's commitment to ongoing development in DevOps and system design, and we are excited for what the future holds.
